Action

They partnered with ASQI for a comprehensive digital solution for tracking each step of their supply chain and building direct relationships with farmers. ASQI created a  full-fledged platform, “Farmoji, a robust, user-friendly platform designed to connect all stages of the supply chain—from seed distribution to processing logistics—while setting up direct communication links with the stakeholders. To further enhance efficiency, satellite-based auto-verification was introduced for yield estimation, preventing major losses and theft. Manual verification of farmer activities was managed through the application, with Area Officers (AOs) attached to farmers to ensure seamless tracking throughout the crop cycle and assist them in real-time with queries. ASQI built an internal structure for the client and external channels for farmers, integrating real-time tracking to boost transparency, traceability, efficiency, and farmer trust.

Result

We attained a net 50% increase in farmer participation, totalling it to 8000 farmers onboarding the platform. This digitization helped them cut down on commission-based expenses by approximately . 20% and about 30% in logistics costs through supply chain optimization. Overall, operational efficiency, when measured against cost versus time, improved by 37%.
